Testing my new lens. EF-M 22 F2.
I love the noise pattern produced by this camera in extreme low light conditions. EOS M is a beast if you expose properly while recording.
Keep it to the right or ETTR.
1080p, 14 Bit, Raw. EFm 22 at F2 at 3200 ISO.
Cinema DNG from MLV. Graded in DaVinci.
Highlights pushed down a bit. Mids pushed up. Shadows untouched.
For low light, the trick is to shoot in 14 bit with a fast lens. Expose to the right even if it means pushing the ISO to the maximum and do as little as possible in the post. My understanding is to leave the shadows untouched, bring down the highs and push the mids a little bit.
