1. It gives a method of composting at ICRISAT campus. It took about 45 days to compost. It also shares ideas on improving presentation, if the product has to be sold.

2. The method is targeted to farmers who wish to prepare compost for their own use or as a business enterprise.

3. When demonstrated to farmers in Haryana and Punjab - farmers commented it as laboriuos.

4. Value of the compost was tested at PAU campus in field experiments. A 4-5 percent improved yield was recorded in year. It is important to note that good effect of any compost can last for the next at least 2-years.
