NGO CSW63 Web of Women’s Wisdom Professor Pam Pajput, PH.D. of India

NGO CSW63 Forum Side-Event Web of Women's Wisdom featuring a number of panelists including Professor Pam Rajput, Ph.D. of Panjab University, India who has been a women's rights activist since the mid-70s in India and internationally. She helped to organize the first "Women's Parliament" that brought together over 500 women leaders from every part of India. She has received a number of academic fellowships and is a member of several expert committees and governance bodies in India including the Ministry of Women & Child Development, National Commission for Women, Delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and many others. She is also the founder and Director of the Centre for Women's Studies & Development and the Head of the Department of Political Science at Panjab University.

The NGO CSW63 Forum, which ran parallel to the 63rd UN Commission on the Status of Women, brought together thousands of women from around the world to address and discuss a diverse range of issues impacting women of the world today, and more so, global population(s).
