Manipur Violence Reality | 5-Year-Old & Infant Killed | Why Is This Still Not Controlled?

A heartbreaking incident from Manipur has once again raised serious questions about law and order and long-standing unrest.

In Bishnupur district, a house was hit by a rocket-like projectile late at night, resulting in the tragic deaths of two children - a 5-year-old boy and his 6-month-old sister. Their mother remains critically injured. The house reportedly belonged to a BSF personnel who was away on duty.

Following this, protests erupted across the region. Clashes between protesters and security forces led to further casualties and injuries. Internet services have been suspended in multiple districts.

This is not an isolated incident. Since 2023, the violence in Manipur has resulted in over 260 deaths, displacement of thousands, and destruction of homes.

Despite the presence of agencies like Central Reserve Police Force and investigations by Central Bureau of Investigation, many cases remain unresolved.
