Dr. Dwight Pitcaithley, former chief historian with the National Park Service, will speak at the Eiteljorg Museum on Saturday, July 9. He'll address the phenomenal growth of the National Park System over the past 100 years, its role in fostering preservation and recreation opportunities outside parks and the challenges it faces at the launch of its second century.
