Tulfo says some officials using flood control mess to defame their enemies | DZMM TeleRadyo

Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chairman Erwin Tulfo on Thursday said he is intent on continuing the flood control investigation but noted that some senators and officials are using the issue to grandstand and defame their political enemies.

“Mag-iimbestiga tayo pero my question is - iikot na lang ba ang mundo natin sa flood control? Can't we move forward? Marami pa namang problema na dapat imbestigahan,” he told DZMM.

He said former Blue Ribbon chair Panfilo Lacson had already submitted the panel’s findings to the Office of the Ombudsman, which led to the filing of charges against several individuals.

“Why don't we just wait sa Ombudsman? Nasa Ombudsman na ang bola.”
