Regentone Record Player : 1953 Multi 99 Vintage Radio Restoration Pt.5
Regentone Record Player : 1953 Multi 99 Vintage Radio Restoration Pt.5
The Regentone Multi 99 is a combination radio and record player built in 1953. I bought this as a repair and restoration project. Using a fairly standard valve radio design this particular set was purchased 'fully working'. This video is the long awaited final part of the series. I have done all the alignment and the internals, now is just the fit together time. In this video, the dial cord, the front panel, dial glass, and chassis all meet each other and then get put back into their box! I apologise for the ending... youtube didn't like the record I played on the turntable to demonstrate it so I had to re record the video ending...
I know I have taken a while to put this video together but life had got in the way of things a bit. Things have settled again and now I'm back at the grindstone and hopefully able to go back to weekly videos again.
I hope you find this video interesting and if you have any questions or suggestions then please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Also if you are not a subscriber and wish to see the rest of the series as I work on this project, consider subscribing and push the bell icon to get all notifications of all videos as they are uploaded.
Best wishes to you all.
George
