My motorhome is being made ready for full time, off grid living and one of the most important aspects is the vehicle security itself.
Installing these motorhome door dead locks is one of the first measures against a thief entering the motorhome in the first place.
In this video I show How To Fit A Van Door Dead Lock, With Full Installation Of The Vehicle Deadlock.

My motorhome is a Fiat Ducato and these dead locks are designed to be fitted to the door panels and door jams to give added vehicle security.
Essentially the process will be the same for any other make of vehicle, motorhome, camper van, or day van. The deadlock principle is still the same as is the deadlock fitting procedure.

I think the installation of these vehicle dead locks can be completed by any reasonably competent DIY'er who has the tools and space to carry out this job.
