Don't leave your umbrella outside at night...

In the rain-soaked streets of Japan, something forgotten is looking for a new home. Something that was once a tool. Now it's alive. One eye. One leg. A tongue that never stops hungering.

Karakasa is one of the most bizarre and terrifying yokai in Japanese folklore - an umbrella abandoned by its master, transformed by neglect into a vengeful spirit. It doesn't want to hurt you. It wants to be needed. To be held. To be yours forever.

This 40-second horror story follows a man who forgot his umbrella at a tea house. When he returned, it was waiting in the alley. Changed. Watching. Hopping closer with desperate love. You can run from a monster. But how do you escape something that just wants to be useful?

Japanese folklore teaches that objects have souls. Neglect them, and they become hungry.
