Arrogant Pilot Crashes Paraglider

Paragliding tutorial about an overconfident pilot who fails a wingover trying to show off, ends up crashing right in front of launch, then laughs and jokes about it as a way to save face.

Its hard to watch.

Not because it's scary, but because it is so close to my heart.

I've shown off a million times, even on this exact launch in Brazil.

I've wanted to be impressive, cool, liked, respected

I still have to wrestle with that every day.

I also have a deep fear of dying by showing off

If the sky kills me, so be it

But making decisions influenced by how I'm trying to be perceived.... Makes me cringe

So in this video, I'm trying to help you connect with the parts of you that want to be seen a certain way

And help you find your own sense of confidence, acceptance and belonging

So that you don't feel like you need to risk your life for those things externally

And if you think that this pilot is so stupid and that you're totally enlightened and free from this human experience.... Think again
