BENKOVAC The city, the castle & the big Sajam market

Benkovac is a Croatian city located in the Dalmatian region included in Zadar province. The main monuments of the city are, without a doubt, the Castle and the Orthodox Christian Church of St. John the Baptist. The city is also famous for its Sajam market, which is held every month on the tenth day. The market was first organized one hundred years ago and has since become a very popular event and offers a wide range of products, including agricultural products, animals, clothing, handicrafts and much more. The market has become a popular tourist attraction and attracts over 10,000 visitors each month.

Benkovac è una città croata situata nella regione della Dalmazia inclusa nella provincia di Zadar.
