UOAA (Ostomy) Patient Voices on the Hill

UOAA Advocates traveled to Washington, D.C. on from around the country for meetings with their Representatives in Congress on 10/8/25 in an effort to protect access to ostomy and urological supplies. UOAA and our advocates asked for Congressional oversight to exclude ostomy and urological prosthetic devices from a CMS Competitive Bidding Program proposal that treats these as “one-size-fits-all” equipment, jeopardizing safety, health, and quality of life.
