𝗜 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘… 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗜 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬

𝗜 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘… 𝗜 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘

I’ve realised something about myself…

I struggle with 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀.

They make me feel 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰.
Like I can’t show who I really am… or say things the way I mean them.
I’d rather speak to someone 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲.

Real conversations. Real connection.

I don’t live in the 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁.
I don’t live in the 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

I live 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

I don’t let the future build 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆.

And yeah… it frustrates people.
People who like to plan ahead… who like to make plans for me.

I get it.

But I’ve learned something…

The future is coming anyway.

So why stress about something that isn’t here yet?

Have a 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻… but don’t live there.

I just show up…
and put one foot in front of the other.

And I’m damn good at that.

Because the truth is…

I’ve had to learn how to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆.

And now… I’ve learned how to 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴.

In a few days’ time, I’ll be walking nearly 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 across the country…

Carrying a 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘁𝘂𝗯.

Crazy… or not.

You tell me.

But if one person sees that and thinks…

“If he can keep going… maybe I can too…”

Then it’s worth it.

So yeah…

Stay in the moment.
Stay with yourself.

And most importantly…

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆.
