An Arctic Blast and New Babies Being Born

Today, December 20, 2022 is another busy day here at our farm/home. We’ve had several babies born these last few days and more babies coming. It’s a very hectic time since we’ve got a very cold and dangerous arctic blast coming in two days and we have new babies on the ground. Trying to provide an area for them that’s warm and dry is a big job in itself….but it’s got to be done.
If any of you are living in a home without good heating, PLEASE try to find a portable propane heater (even if you have to borrow one) to use in case of an emergency. The cold that’s coming is certainly capable of causing the power pole transformers to freeze and “pop”….if that happens then you won’t have any heat if you are on the electric grid for your heating/cooling system. Ice forming on the power lines will definitely cause many lines to break and cause more power outages. Please take these scenarios into account of what can happen during this serious cold front….not being able to keep your family, your self, and your pets warm will end in death! This is a very dangerous and powerful winter blast that’s about to blanket the entire country, so please don’t wait until the last minute to get prepared….because it could very easily be too late.
