1991 Donegal 40th. Ann. Celebration of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann

This was an Ecumenical Service celebrating the 40th. anniversary of CCE (Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann founded in 1951) by the county Donegal branch at a great function in Jackson's Hotel, Ballybofey in 1991. It was followed afterwards by a wonderful concert of Irish Traditional music.
Canon Henderson (Church of Ireland) and Fr. Jimmy Shields led the service. The late President of the Donegal CCE Clement Sweeney was in attendance as well as singer Aoife Ni Fhearraigh and the late Eddie Mongey from Highland Radio, Hilda Hanlon (the late mother of Bibi Baskin was a reader representing Ardara CCE), John McCracken, Buncrana, former Chairman of the Buncrana All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil, and Highland Radio Presenter, but there were many distinguished representatives from the Donegal Branches of Comhaltas.
