Climate Change: Fact, Fake or Full-On Finale?

Every time I discuss climate change on this channel, I get rafts of people saying it’s fake, and rafts of other people saying it’s going to lead to full-on human extinction.

These arguments often focus on one area, one graph, one phenomenon. But how about if we stepped back and looked at the fundamental scientific case being made by each perspective to see how well they hold up?

Stop looking at trees, and start looking at forests?

Let’s give it a go.

We cover the elements of climate change that have to be in place to conclude whether or not greenhouse gases and CO2 constitute the best current theory to match the facts. We cover the role of conspiracy theory in the anti-global warming ideas, and the role of outliers and unspecified risk factors in the apocalyptic perspective. We mention Tony Heller on the one side, Guy McPherson and Extinction Rebellion on the other.
