Embroidered and Corded 1840s Corset and Chemise | Amalia Costume pt. 2

In this video I show you how I made the corset and the chemise for my 1840s Greek court gown, the Amalia type costume. The corset or stays is decorated with cording and free hand embroidery done by a simple home sewing machine. The chemise is modelled after an exhibit in the MET museum, created using different sizes of rectangles.
