Nexus 5 Phone Travel Adapter Charger Issue

Nexus 5 travel adapter charging issues, erratic intermittent charging issue. Charging but performing it's own key clicks. Touchscreen is not responding correctly when plugged into the original lg ac adapter. Had to order a new phone under warranty. Issue is the ac adapter. Only 2 month old..
