Victor Table Grand Victrola Gramophone Model IX 1917 - Poor Papa by Frank Harris/Irving Kaufman

Here we have Poor Papa sung by Frank Harris otherwise known as Irving Kaufman on Columbia 569D. This is the original American pressing and is very scarce in the UK. Frank Harris was one of the many pseudonyms that he used, Irvin Kaufman was a prolific recording artist in the 1920s and recorded under many names.

Nice to be playing this on my American Victoria table grand which was the forerunner of the HMV later 103 and 109 series is the UK. These machines are common in the UK so it’s nice to have something a bit more unusual especially from the United States.
