Button Quail hatchling rescue

At 10pm a week ago, a friend shows up with this baby button quail. We scrambled to make the little guy a comfy spot. He was abandoned by the owner of the hatching eggs because he took too long to hatch, causing damages to his leg. We're hopeful after successfully rehabilitating a baby duck.. fingers crossed we can save this little guy! Stay tuned.. sounds like there's more to come!
