EASY FIX | Sureflo RV Water Pump Runs Continuously | Does Not Stop Running | Troubleshooting

Here is an easy fix for an RV RV Fresh Water Pump that runs continuously. After some troubleshooting on my Sureflo water pump 2088, I discovered that the issue was not just a clogged water strainer but it was also cracked.

This caused the water pump to run continuously and to not shut off. It could also produce low PSI in the system.

The replacement part is a SHURFLO (255-313) 1/2" Twist-On Pipe Strainer. I have no ideal why they call it a strainer and not a filter but that is what it is.
