I remember when I first made these remixes, some of them felt like alternative versions of the original tracks then some of them were very different with a few Angels & Airwaves elements.

When I started to write my own lyrics to songs, I would sometimes use the instrumentals of the remixes to inspire new songs. One of these was a remix for “The Disease” which turned into “Does Anybody Feel the Way That I Do?”. I loved that song so much that I decided to go against releasing it as remix and just made it my own. Sometimes that happens, and that was actually one of the most exciting parts about making all of this.

I also completely understand that this channel started as a remix channel which has lead into creating my own music and even being in a band. Naturally, some people will enjoy the remixes, some will enjoy the original music and some will just enjoy both.
Everyone has been so kind over the years and I’ve always tried to give back to everyone who has joined this journey no matter what stage they arrived. Instead of going one way or the other, I think it’s time to show you some cool stuff that came from just messing around with both The Ever After music and Angels & Airwaves remixes that hopefully everyone will enjoy.

So, this will be a new song you’ll hear as The Ever After from the upcoming album “Heartstrings” coming this fall. For now, it’s a reimagining of Illenium and Angels & Airwaves’ track; “Paper Thin”.
