OHR- 8th Anniversary celebration 12 12 2021 Part 1

*Amrut Deshmukh: “Ideas don’t change the world, execution of Ideas changes the world”*

This was the take away message given by famous Booklet guy who is on the Mission Make India Read CA Amrut Deshmukh, guest of honor on the occasion of 8th anniversary of OHR Foundation held on 12th December 2021 at 7.00 pm at Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Pune

The celebration was beautifully and professionally anchored by Mr. Nitin B. Daangal, Director HR Of Leadec India & Member of the executive committee of OHR along with Ms. Vaibhavi Ghodke, student of MBA Finance from Neville Wadia. All the Covid-19 norms were strictly followed throughout the Event.

This Year OHR celebrated the event with the Theme *“Crowded Cafes, Empty Libraries”* & wanted to come up with the message of Creating Awareness about Reading, a small contribution to his Mission Make India Read. Event was dedicated to *Advocate R.Y. Joshi* who was passed away recently and was known as an avid reader, who had a special connection of being a guide, well-wisher for OHR.

The Program began with the National Anthem and a Warm welcome & Inauguration with lighting of lamp by Chief Guest & Trustees of OHR: Sudhir Phatak, Vipin Ghate, Mr. Jitendra Pendse and Milind Kale. All the Attendees remembered late Adv. R.Y Joshi and paid tribute to him and also to Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat his wife, Madhulika Rawat and others.

Dr. Abhay Hake – The trustee of NWIMSR greeted the H.R Fraternity and gave a brief about the vision of NWIMSR. Dr. Anand Dadas, Director – NWIMSR, gave a presentation on Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies and Research and its recent achievements. OHR Signed an MOU with Institute for certain initiatives to strengthen the Industry- Institute Partnership.

Mr. Sachin Landge, General Manager - HR & IR Simmonds Marshall Ltd.
& Trustee of OHR gave a brief introduction about the vision and mission & activities of OHR Foundation. Later, Mr. Aniket Nilekar, Regional HR Manager of IAC & Trustee of OHR and co-host Ms.Vaibhavi gave a brief introduction about the Guest of honor Mr. Amrut Deshmukh, and welcomed him to address the august audience.

Guest of honor CA Amrut Deshmukh mentioned his life journey, never-give-up attitude and asked audiences to use his Booklet App. He mentioned his mission, "Make India Read" as a Social Cause to revolutionize reading in India.

Further, there was a question-and-answer session, where the attendees asked him questions on how to develop a reading habit and maintain consistency. Mr. Amrut Deshmukh mentioned his non-copyrighted book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Readers.” He mesmerized the audience by his simple yet motivating speech with lot of practical experience which will definitely inspire all not only in their personal life but professional as well. We are really very fortunate enough to have a guest of honor Mr.Amrut deshmkh.

Further, Introduction of the book “The Unbeatable” by Dr. Ajay Maske, a member OHR Group was done.

The prestigious Outstanding Upcoming HR Professional Award of OHR for the age below 40 years was declared and awarded to Ms. Shartika Khajuria by Guest of Honor Mr. Amrut Deshmukh along with the Jury Members. Sponsors of the events were appreciated thru a token of Appreciation with a Memento by the Chief Guest.
