Iveco @ Dakar 2023 - Stage 8

The last stage before the rest day was eventful and action-packed! Let’s start with Mitchel van den Brink, who finished second and claimed his fourth podium in the Dakar Rally. His father Martin was less fortunate and had to settle for fifth place, being second overall, still remaining the highest ranked pilot of Team De Rooy Iveco. But the road to Riyadh was especially hard for Janus van Kasteren and his teammates, who ran out of spare tires. Despite slowing down a bit, the Boss Machinery Team maintains a strong third position in the general classification. Now it’s time for a quick break, but there’s still a long way to go. Stay tuned!
