Lopunny, Mo' Problems: Pokemon Renegade Platinum Triple Soul Link #19

Originally streamed on twitch.tv/aphanaphis and costarring twitch.tv/bamthefisherman and twitch.tv/bonescarfer. Streams are at 7 PM central on Saturday. Episodes upload Tuesday-Thursday, with possible bonus episodes on Friday.

This is a Nuzlocke, we set our own rules for that. I (Aphanaphis) am doing hardcore rules (no items in battle).

SOUL LINK RULES:
Each encounter is linked between the three games, sharing a life. Linked Pokes must be on the team at the same time or boxed. We should generally keep pace with each other. We can either fight bosses simultaneously, or take turns, but we should fight the bosses together. Deaths don’t apply to the linked mons until we are all clear of the boss fight.

GIFT POKEMON RULES:
Fixed encounters are drafted or agreed upon. Due to overlapping gift mon locations in one case, and for a few extra encounters, gift mons do not count as that zone’s encounter.

Fixed encounter pools:
1: Sinnoh Starters
2: Kanto Starters - Jubilife
3: Baby Eggs - Jubilife (save state and hatch until we all have unique eggs.)
4: Hoenn Starters - Oreburgh
5: Johto Starters - Floarama
6: Fossils (we each get two)
7: Beldum/Porygon/Lapras (spread out - Oreburgh/Eterna/Pastoria)

ENCOUNTER RULES:
We get encounters together when we reach a new area. You may push ahead rather than wait for stragglers, but cannot get your encounter until the others have arrived in the same area.
Roar clause: Escaping pokemon don’t count as a missed encounter. Try again.
If your encounter happens when you have a partner it is not a legal catch and you are not penalized.
Poke Radar can be used (see documentation).

SPECIES CLAUSE:
We cannot use mons that have been caught by another player, except for forked evolutions like Eevee.

SHINY CLAUSE:
You can use shinies to replace your same encounter. The shiny rate is boosted.
Each new shiny each of us finds becomes a linked trio (they are essentially queued up waiting for partners).

HOUSEKEEPING:
We can perform some basic housekeeping actions outside of the streams. What this would entail is the option to exit from the route or dungeon you end at on each stream, going back to cities to team build, do shopping, and swap around items and TMs and such between streams.

CHECKPOINT SAVES:
After each gym because we have lives to live.

LEVEL CAPS:
If we wipe in a gym, +1 level to our level cap.
