Spinning Wheel Interlude BBC 1950's

Before the days of video tape, and computer driven control rooms, when in fact the BBC was the only UK TV broadcaster, things were very different from now. This Interlude film was shown 'in between' programmes, if the BBC had a few minutes to 'fill' before the next programme!. Remember youngsters TV was only on for a few hours each evening! This film the 'Spinning Wheel', was used together with the 'Potters Wheel' to plug many a 405 lines programming gap!
