Why Roger Federer Struggles at the US Open

Roger Federer, 20 time grand slam winner and easily one of the greatest of all time is in the latter stages of his career, a statement that has lasted almost 10 years already and yet he keeps surprising us with new shots, an unwavering love of the game and the fact he just keeps on winning. The last time he won a US Open, was back in 2008 against a young Andy Murray. So, why exactly has he struggled to even make it back to a final when he’s one of the greatest players to ever grace their courts, holding a joint 5 titles with the likes of Pete Sampras and Jimmy Connors? In this video i’ll be looking at opinions of other players, the man himself, looking at various bits of data as well as throwing around my opinion as we go through his results at the US since his last win.
