Unreal Engine 4 Basic Neural Network Proof of Concept

This is footage of our basic neural network in action. We set it to take the three "feelers" as inputs and output a forward speed and a turn rate. You can see at first before they're trained that they move and spin aimlessly. During training we set it to favor full speed forward if there wasn't anything in the way and turn to the one side or the other if depending on which feeler was hitting something. You can see towards the end that they start to navigate their way around the level.
