Hans Rosling on global income disparity (and snowballs) - Newsnight
It's easy to be pessimistic about everything economic, but it does pay to stand back, look at the big picture and check that pessimism against the long term data. Which is what Hans Rosling helps people do. He is a statistician, a man who specialises in data visualisation, and in tracking income disparities around the world. He briefed Evan Davis on the state of the world whilst climbing through the snow.
