I shot the first take of this drum cover years ago, but it was blocked worldwide by the label. then they decided to make it available again but by then I realized that I didn't like how it came out so I decided to re-shoot it.
For some reason, this groove is harder for me then the fastest most complex grooves I covered. it's almost annoyingly slow, and the whole time I couldn't decide if I should lead with the left or right foot for the second part of the bass drum pattern. the correct thing to do was to start with the left, but it's just so slow that it made more sense to start with the right.... any ways, I'll stop rambling. here it is, love this song, hope you you like :-)
