Biden: MAGA Republicans Threat to Democracy, Trump Says You Are the Threat!

President Joe Biden harshly criticized close allies and staunch supporters of former president Donald Trump describing them as a threat to the foundation of American democracy.

President Biden described them as MAGA republican, which is an abbreviation of Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” Joe Biden said MAGA republicans want to destroy democracy, and rule of law, and impose authoritarian rule.

The US president also said not all republicans are Maga Republicans, but the republican party is being led by the former president and his close allies. Biden said "MAGA" Republicans are willing to overturn democratic elections, ignore Constitution, and take the country into a dark past.

President Biden delivered his speech at a historical venue, near Independence Hall, in Philadelphia where the Declaration of Independence and the US constitution were adopted.

Former President Donald Trump responded to the “MAGA” criticism by President Biden. In a major speech at a Pennsylvania GOP rally, Trump said President Biden’s speech was divisive, full of hatred and anger.

He also said Biden was using the FBI against a major political opponent. He compared the Mar-a-Lago search to the third world operation against political rivals.

President Biden slammed the “MAGA” movement and Donald Trump again during his Labor Day speech on Monday, describing it as a danger to Democracy.
