Keep it Flameless w/ Baseplate wax and heatgun
To go totally flameless I use this heat gun from http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/mini-heat-gun.php. Make sure to use a piece of plexiglass under the nozzle to prevent drips from accumulating on your work surface.
