In the summer of 1950 was opened the Kursaal, the plant's most famouspost-war re-launches the Ostia seaside tourism of mass, an extension of the sweet life in Rome, is it the intention of creating a luxury facility withhighly qualified services. The project is designed by Attilio Lapadula and Renato Papagni consulting engineer with Pierluigi Nervi. The project was then extended by Pierluigi Nervi with the extraordinary coverage of the central circular freestanding mushroom used as a bar restaurant and the construction of the large pad with a characteristic circular shape which reflects the initial name of the establishment.
