Inside One of the First Lightship AE.1 Builds | VIN 15 Factory Log Ep. 2

This is the beginning of the build of my Lightship AE.1 — VIN 15.

In this series, I’m documenting the entire journey from factory floor to delivery as one of the earliest owners of Lightship’s all-electric travel trailer (https://lightshiprv.com).

Episode 2 recaps Vin 15's progress through the factory and takes a closer look at Station 2: Tub Frame and Actuator alignment, a key step in the canopy structure that supports the aerodynamic system behind the AE.1's on road efficiency.

Lightship isn’t building a traditional RV. The AE.1 is designed specifically for electric towing, with its own battery, aerodynamic body, and a completely different approach to travel trailers. I wanted to capture what it actually looks like as one of these gets built from the ground up.

Each episode follows VIN 15 as it moves station-by-station through production, testing, and final validation before delivery.
