It's Cool To Be Jolly

I met up with 9 year old Sunhawk Thomas, and Lt. Scott Creager of the Vancouver Police Department early Saturday morning. They were participating in 'Nautilus Inc.'s Holiday Helpers'. Nautilus teams up with Target and the Vancouver Police to help kids in need do some Christmas shopping. It also helps these kids associate the police with something other than bad moments. Going to work at 5am on my day off was not really what I wanted to do, but these people immediately lifted my spirits. I LOVED this kid! Such a happy little guy, and just a great kid. Lt. Creager was just as amazing. In this time of all the bad press for police, I can tell you that 99.9% of the men and women of law enforcement that I come in contact with have all been great to me. There were so many funny moments with these two, I wish I could've included them all. Here's a story I put together on the event. Something nice for the holidays.
