How to Make Vibrant Blue Bath Bombs

Do you struggle to get vibrant color in your bath bombs? I have found getting really rich blues and really saturated reds in my bath bombs to be really difficult. I also learned that most blue and green micas are not FDA approved for use in bath bombs. So, I decided to bloom my dyes in my dry ingredients, not just the baking soda, but everything except the citric acid. I dye the citric acid separately so the bath bombs don't activate prematurely. I let my dyed dry ingredients dry overnight and then use them as I usually do in my tried and true "perfect" bath bomb recipe. Watch all the way through to see a demo of the bath bomb.
