Hvað gerðir þú um helgina? - What did you do last weekend?
Ég lá bara í leti og horfði á sjónvarpið. - I was just lazy and watched TV.
vá, ég vildi að ég hefði getað gert það - Wow, I wish I could have done that.
Nú? hvað gerðir þú? - Why? What did you do?
Ég þurfti að vinna alla helgina. - I had to work all weekend.
ó, ég skil. - Oh, I understand.
