Winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2018 for a technique she created: directed evolution of enzymes. She is the fifth woman to win the Nobel in Chemistry since it has been awarded in 1901. Arnold is a passionate environmentalist who insists on investing in projects that are sustainable.
