Drivers who've had the easiest route into F1 - F1 politics, pay drivers and personal relationships
Pay driver, rich kid, daddies boy. These are just some of the words banded about when we see those drivers who've enjoyed a somewhat asier route into F1 or those driving for a formula one team by bringing personal sponsorship. It's something that really triggers a lot of fans because they think the best of the best drivers should have the opportunity to drive in F1 or in the words that Toto Wolff recently used, F1 is a meritocracy.
But if we are being honest there are some circumstances where we've all been left thinking this driver is either soo lucky to be driving in F1, had a very easy progression into a seat or must be bringing a tonne load of money or sponsorship to the table.
In this video we take a big look into the current drivers on the grid and discuss how their money, personal relationships and business dealings paved the way for them to make it to F1.
In the video I discuss the age old question of how do teams get paid from f1? Because I often ask myself how do they keep it all going? It's not very clear. Especially with teams spending millions on building cars, treating sponsors, paying drivers salaries and all that jazz.

DISCLAIMER: I am not saying that any of the drivers do not deserve to be in F1 or don't have the talent to drive in the sport. Where I discuss personal relationships I am not saying they got their seat purely because of these relationships, I am stating it is highly likely to have made their progression into the sport alot easier.
