Dr Kat and East London 1888

As we’re moving house, so I wanted to make a video about the history of our current local area – Bow in East London. I’m going to discuss the Matchwomen’s Strike of 1888. I’m also talking about the amazing work of the East End Women’s Museum (https://eastendwomensmuseum.org) and Matchfest (Twitter link: @Matchwomen1888).

I hope you enjoy this video and find it interesting!
