[Workshop - Innsbruck] Nature-Based Solutions on Mountains for Central Asia & Caucasus Countries

A 4-day event summary video that highlights the site visits, learning, and outcomes from the NBS on mountains workshop held in Innsbruck, Austria for September 9 – 12, 2024. The workshop was provided for participants from 6 countries in disaster risk management, environment, and transport sectors from Caucasus and Central Asian countries: Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
ABOUT THE GLOBAL FACILITY FOR DISASTER REDUCTION AND RECOVERY (GFDRR) is a global partnership that helps low- and lower-middle-income countries better understand and reduce their vulnerabilities to natural hazards and adapt to climate change. GFDRR provides grant financing, technical assistance, training and knowledge sharing activities to mainstream disaster and climate risk management in national and regional policies, strategies, and investment plans.
