A woman in Nanaimo is calling on the province of British Columbia to change legislation on how people are discharged from hospital with serious mental health concerns after her husband died by suicide. Daisy Bolton says her husband was released from the hospital without any of his family or friends being notified, and a short time later he ended his life.
