The Mojave road is one of California's best overland locations, where you can leave the civilized word for days as you cross over a hundred miles of historic, unpaved, and unmaintained trail. There's also plenty of free camping, historic ruins, and some road side oddities that give the Mojave road a distinct identity. This was our first go.
