Last Steam from Liverpool Manchester to Carlisle
A film made in 1968 by my late father Ken Ellwood showing the last passenger steam train from Liverpool/Manchester to Carlisle and back. There were just 450 paying passengers who paid 15 guineas for the privilege (about £250) and this August will be the 50th Anniversary of this memorable occasion.
