Ramadan series : Falafel 🧆
Craving something delicious and quick ? These falafel platter are just what you need!
Homemade falafels, tortilla bread or Lebanese one with a delicious homemade garlicky sauce, fresh tomato, parsley, pickles, hummus and fries.
Falafel Ingredients:
500gr chickpeas
5 garlic gloves
1/4 onion
Parsley, cilantro
Salt, pepper, cumin 1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp flour
1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse together the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking soda, flour, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth.
Let the mixture rest for 1hour
Heat about an inch of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Using a spoon or hand, form the falafel mixture into small balls.
Fry the falafel balls until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Drain the falafel on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil. #short #shorts #eatcookwithsisterzz
