DIY Crochet Christmas Tree Ornaments

Hi guys!

In this video, I'll be showing you how to create some ornaments for your Christmas tree! I liked these as ornaments, but you could also tie them on a string to make a garland.

♡MATERIALS:
- 2 colors of yarn (I used Caron Cotton and Impeccable)
- crochet hook that fits the size of your yarn (I used 3.50mm)
- tapestry needle
-jingle bells
-scissors
This tree is broken down into ROWS and DECREASE ROWS. A decrease is made when two stitches are crocheted together.

♡TERMINOLOGY (Americanized):

♥ slip knot - the first loop that forms the foundation for your work
♥ chain (ch) - with a loop on your hook, yarn over (YO) and pull through a loop.
♥ single crochet (sc) - insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through. You will have 2 loops on your hook, YO and pull through both loops.
♥ half double crochet (hdc) - YO and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through. You will have 3 loops on your hook, YO and pull through all 3 loops.
♥ half double crochet 2 together (hdc2tog) - This is a decrease. YO and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through. You will have 3 loops on your hook. YO and insert hook into next stitch, YO and pull through. You will now have 5 loops on your hook, YO and pull through all 5 loops.
