MINIRA

Bunga Raya which means "celebratory flower" is a symbol of love for the birth of Malaysia. In 1960, Hibiscus was declared the national flower by the then Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. The five petals of the flower fits well with the five principals of the Rukun Negara. The vibrant colours of the flower symbolizes courage. Hibiscus commonly blooms all over Malaysia and it decorates many household fences.

MINIRA which is derived from the word "ominira" or "freedom" in Yoruba, is inspired by not only the beauty of the Hibiscus flower, but also the power that lays upon the meaning behind the flower. If a woman is likened to a flower, Hibiscus describes it perfectly. This collection is made in hopes that every woman who wears it will remember that strength is always followed by beauty.
