What is a Stakeholder?

In this video, we investigate what a stakeholder is and the different types of stakeholder.

Stakeholders are individuals, groups, or entities who have an interest or concern in a particular business or project. They can be both internal and external to the organisation and include a wide range of people such as employees, customers, investors, suppliers, government agencies, and the local community. Each stakeholder group has its own set of interests, expectations, and impacts on, or from, the business. For example, employees may be concerned about job security and working conditions, while investors are primarily interested in the financial performance of the company. Effective management often involves understanding and balancing the needs and expectations of various stakeholders to ensure the success and sustainability of the business.
