New daycare and washrooms coming to the ByWard Market

Ottawa city councillors have approved a $200-million plan to revitalize the ByWard Market, which includes 24/7 washrooms and flexible child care. CTV's Kimberley Johnson speaks with Councillor Stephanie Plante, who pushed for the additions, as well as locals Clark Paul-Hector and Bryan Hicks. The massive project also features upgrades to ByWard Market Square, a community hub at the Clarence Street garage, and pedestrian zones on York Street.
