With the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, Square Enix created a monster franchise. It saw many, many different properties created, to help expand the story of Final Fantasy VII including Before Crisis and Advent Children.

In this first part of our look into the Final Fantasy 7 Compilation, we take a look at everything created in the first few years and look into what happened to lead to the creation of the Compilation.
